Obituary

Marjorie R. "Tootie" Paulson, age 89 of Nowthen, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

Marge was born on June 3, 1930 in Benton County, Minnesota to Louis and Rose (Dalbec) Donais.  She worked for 14 years as a "food demo lady" at Festival Foods and Cub Foods.  Most of all, Marge loved her family; bringing generations together for picnics on the Century Family Farm and making Christmas special with her homemade candies and cookies.  She brought joy to others through her hobbies of crafting, gardening, sewing, and quilting.  For 66 years, Marge was a faithful wife and caregiver to her husband, Ronald.

In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; 6 brothers, and 7 sisters.  She is survived by her children, Brenda (Dave) Sauer, Renee (Steve) Ficocello, Gary Paulson, David (Terri) Paulson, and Marla (Randy) Dennison; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren (and two more on the way); sister, "Bobbie" Kemper; nieces, nephews, and many community friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 19921 Nightingale Street NW, Cedar.  Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Nowthen.
