Brown, Arliene W. E. age 84 of Anoka.  Born June 26, 1933 in Golden Valley, ND, and raised in Manning and Killdeer, ND.  After graduating, Arliene moved with her family to Fort Ripley and then to Pillager, MN.  She worked at Brainerd High School as the principal's assistant.  Arliene married her husband of 30 years, Frank Brown, Jr., July 17, 1954, and eventually settled in Thief River Falls, MN. They had six children and she was a loving wife and mother.  After Franks passing in 1984 she met her companion of 32 years, Duane McFarland.  Together they traveled and enjoyed time with their families and friends.  Eventually they moved to St. Cloud, MN and then to the Twin Cities to be closer to Arliene's family.  She is preceded in death by husband, Frank; parents, George and Esther Stroming and brother, Wilbert.  Survived by children, Bruce (Becky), Brad (Sue), Tami (Gary) Hedlund, Terry (Keith) Olson, Tracy (Roger) Eriksson and Trudi (Martin) Hauble; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; companion of 32 years, Duane McFarland; many other family and friends.  Funeral service 11 AM Friday (1/19/2018) at Grace Lutheran Church, 13655 Round Lake Blvd. NW, Andover.  Visitation 1 hour prior to service.  Private interment, Fort Snelling Cemetery.
