Zachary Jon Denzer, age 25, passed away on March 8, 2019 in Columbia, Missouri.

Zach was born to Jeff and Michelle Denzer on April 13, 1993 in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. He was a happy and energetic child— always creative and worked diligently at everything he did. His bright smile and sense of humor filled the room with laughter. He enjoyed reading and music and was also active in baseball and soccer. As a teenager he discovered his passion for computers and video production, always making short movies at home and at school.

Zach graduated from Anoka High School in 2011 and then attended Brown College where he received a degree in radio broadcasting. He started his broadcasting career at KHBT in Humboldt, Iowa and soon transitioned to video production in Spencer, Iowa. For the past two and a half years he was a producer, broadcast coordinator, and editor for Mediacom in Columbia, Missouri. When not working, he enjoyed following politics,  going to the gym, and spending time with his ten-month old son, Sebastian, who meant the world to him.

Zach was preceded in death by his grandparents Clayton Denzer, Dorothy and Melvin Shaughnessy, and Edwin Kadlec.

Zach will be forever remembered by his parents Jeff and Michelle, brothers Josh (Nicole) of Coon Rapids, MN and Devin of Madison, WI, sister Mallory of Coon Rapids, MN, his son, Sebastian of Columbia, MO, nephew Micah, niece Waverly, grandparents Carol and Roger Vondrasek of Oregon, WI, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home located at 13817 Jay Street NW, Andover, MN with visitation at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to start a college fund for Sebastian.
