Rodman, Scott William age 39, of Elk River. Beloved husband, loving father, son and brother, as well as loyal friend, died at his home Jan. 29, 2012 of cancer. Scott was born May 22, 1972 in Coon Rapids, MN. He grew up in Ramsey and graduated from Anoka High School and went on to UMD and the U of M. He was an engineering tech for Braun Intertec for 15 years. Scott was a devoted husband and the "best" dad. He taught his boys so much about life, the value of learning and the importance of loving and caring about people. Scott was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2004 but continued to "live strong". He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; and 2 young sons, Gabriel and Sawyer; also surviving are his parents, Buzz and Penny Rodman; his sisters, Stacey (Jon) Clauss, Sara (John) Grewe and Sacha (Cameron) Kelly; as well as many nieces and nephews, in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Scott's life will be held Wednesday 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 14501 Nowthen Blvd. NW, Ramsey. Scott's family wishes to thank Dr. Garino and her staff at MN Oncology and Mercy Hospital for their excellent care and friendship. They also want to thank everyone at Braun Intertec for their support and generosity to Scott and his family. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the fund for his young boys.
