William "Bill" Ward Gibson, 81 of Coon Rapids passed away peacefully in his own home on October 15th surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Guardian Angels Hospice.

He was born in 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Gerald and Wilma Gibson. At the age of 5 Bill and his family moved to Omaha, NE. He graduated from Central High School in 1958. Bill proudly served in the Marine Corps. He was stationed at Fort Pendleton in San Diego and was later sent to Yokosuka, Japan. He returned home in 1962. He then went to study at Omaha University for business. In 1967 he met his loving wife Andrea Gibson. They were married on June 6th, 1968. Bill was a financial officer for many companies throughout his career.

Bill is greatly missed by his wife, Andrea Gibson; sons, Chad, Eric, Andy, and Isaac Gibson; daughters, Stacy Olson, Tricia Arndt, and Morgan Gibson; brother, Bob Gibson; and will be dearly missed by his 9 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 27th at Constance Free Church, 16150 Crosstown Blvd NW, Andover, 55304 at 11:00 am.
