Nelson, William "Bill" A. age 86, of Ham Lake, MN passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023.

Preceded in death by parents Clarence and Alice (Sandstrom) Nelson.

Lifelong member of Glen Cary Lutheran Church, Charter Member of the Ham Lake Lions Club, Constable and Police Patrolman of Ham Lake. He also served on the Ham Lake Town Board and later as Mayor.

Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Janet (Livgard); daughters, Kris Nelson, Carol Nelson and Jennifer Dyrdahl; grandchildren, Emily Dyrdahl and Ana Dyrdahl.

Funeral Service April 3rd at 11 am at Glen Cary Lutheran Church, 15531 Central Ave NE, Ham Lake, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment at Glen Cary Lutheran Church Cemetery at a later date. Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home Andover 763-767-7373
