Zimmerman, Vernon F. Age 88 of Champlin passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and long time owner of Zimmerman Bros. Inc. Preceded in death by his wife, Louise. Survived by his children, Becky Lazerte, Daniel (Peggy) Zimmerman, David (Bridget) Zimmerman, Barbara (Dan) Carlson, Randy (Lori) Zimmerman and Nancy (Bob) Ramsey; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; many other family and friends. Funeral service will be Saturday 11 am with a reviewal one hour prior at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka. Interment will be at St. Fridolin's Cemetery in Champlin.
