Blesi, Vaughn W. age 51, of Anoka, sailed through 4 1/2 years of pain-free cancer and was promo-ted to Heaven on Satur-day, June 14, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Cynthia; children, Heather and Alexander; father, William Blesi and mother, JoAnne North. He is also survived by brother, Randy (Mary); twin sister Veronica (Gerry) Montag; brother, Greg (Gail); and sister Liz, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A thousand thanks to Dr. Sharon Luikart at the VA Medical Center for her kindness, directness and compassion (Go Duke!), as well as all the many doctors and nurses who helped Vaughn on this journey. Also, a special thanks to Guardian Angels and Elim Hospice for helping me accomplish my goal of keeping Vaughn at home. A visitation will be held Wed., 5-8 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka with funeral service Thurs. starting at 11 AM and a reviewal one hour prior at Presbyterian Church of the Master, 789 Northdale Blvd., Coon Rapids.
