Timothy L. Kubalak, age 66 of Columbia Heights, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis.

Tim was born on April 29, 1952 in Superior, Wisconsin and graduated from Columbia Heights High School in 1970.  Tim lived an active life; he was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  Tim was a hard worker and maintained a life-long career at H&B Elevators.  When he wasn't working, you could catch him on a softball diamond or in a bowling alley.

In addition to his parents, Louis P. Kubalak and Dolores M. Belanger, Tim was preceded in death by a son, Joel P. Gavin.  He is survived by his children, Nate Gavin, Cori Kubalak, and Ted Kubalak (Jenny); grandchildren, Conner, Chloe, Brianna, and Marissa; great-grandchild, Braelynn; siblings, Tom (Patty), Terry (Sandy), Rick (Vicki), and Annmarie; nieces and nephews, Peter (Ally) and their son, Harrison; Luke, Tracy, Adam, Ben, Sophie, and Sam; he will also be missed by extended family and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Hope Church, 1264 109th Avenue NE, Blaine.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Private Interment.
