Thomas Lee "Tom" Wantland age 62 of Oak Grove. His quest for knowledge and passion for precision are only a small part of the gift that it has been to share time with Tom.  His drive to understand how things worked helped him become a wealth of knowledge in both the automotive world with General Motors and also the snowmobiling world working exclusively with Arctic Cat both developing, riding and racing to the top level of the sport.  Tom was a phenomenal educator sharing his skills and depth of understanding with some of the best automotive minds.  Tom will be missed by many. Tom was preceded in death by his parents James & Beatrice Wantland. He is survived by his wife Robin, daughter Lisa (Jeremy) Brunes, grandchildren Jasper & Hannah, brother Michael (Cindy) Wantland, nieces, nephews, special friends Josh Bondhus & Dave Harlander. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 19921 Nightingale Street, NW, Oak Grove. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at the Church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
