Murray, Thomas A. "Tom" age 65 of Anoka, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family and friends on October 28, 2019.

Tom had a passion for music and was a talented drummer. He was a "Car Guy" who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his 2 grandsons. Tom also found time to coach his son's sports teams, most notably soccer and hockey. Tom was courageous in his battle and has been an inspiration to his family and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, John R. Murray and Gertrude N. "Toots" Murray; niece, Teresa (Nik) Rajala and survived by his wife of over 40 years, Barbara A. "Barb"; sons, Ryan T. Murray (Doreen) & Eric M. Murray; grandsons, Ebin & John; siblings, Robert J. "Bob" (Mary Jo) Murray & Nancy J. Marello along with many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Tom's life will be held on Friday (11/8/2019) at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka. A Reception will follow immediately following the service at the Anoka American Legion, 400 Main Street W, Anoka.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
