McGillivray, Thomas J. "Tom" formerly of Mpls., passed away at his home in Hurst, TX on Jan. 1, 2012 at the age of 42. Tom was a master glass installer and worked for Safelite Glass Company in TX. He loved motorcycles, music, both old country and rock, and he loved playing his drums. Tom is survived by his mother, Jan McGillivray of Elk River; his father, Tom Maroney of Winlock, WA; brother, Chad (Angie) McGillivray and niece, Shelby all of Coon Rapids; stepson, Tyler Prouty; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11 AM at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St, Anoka. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM at Thurston- Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka and also one hour prior to Mass at the church. Vigil prayers 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
