Thomas Aaron Bancroft, age 70, died peacefully at his home in Coon Rapids surrounded by family on June 7th, 2021. Tom was born in International Falls, Minnesota on March 2nd 1951 to Poncho (Milton) and Dolores (nee Ruport) Bancroft. Tom was a proud and dedicated employee of the City of Champlin for 27 years. He loved to watch the Wild, the Twins, and the Vikings. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family. Tom is survived by and will remain in the hearts of: His wife, Sandy, of 33 years from Coon Rapids MN; son, Jake (Colleen) Pyles of Oak Grove, MN and their children, Shayla (Steven), Paris, Sienna, and Shaniessa; his great granddaughter, Haven; Son-in-law Eric Wolle of Baldwin, WI and his children, Bearic "Bear", Aubriella "Aubee", Everleigh "Ever"; his grandchildren, Raiden, Thorin, and their father Aaron. Parents, brothers Ed (Patty), Wayne (Lisa), nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Tom is preceded in death by daughter, Krissy, brother, George, and niece, Tricia. A Celebration of Life to honor a Champlin legend will be held on Saturday June 12th, hosted by family at the home of nephew, Matt & Kelly Bancroft 8742 Goodhue St. NE, Mpls, MN, 55449 at 1: 00 pm. Come celebrate by sharing stories and memories of Banky; the man, the myth, the legend, Tom Bancroft.
