Williams, Sylvia L. age 95 of St. Francis passed away on December 12, 2022. Family was everything to Sylvia. She also loved gardening and was known for her beautiful flower garden.  She was a lifelong Anoka County resident and was involved at church for 60 years and so proud she was on the building committee. Sylvia was a Saint Francis Independent School District #15 bus driver for many years. She loved to shop and cook and was a great baker. She even went to the Minnesota State Fair with her bread when she was 12. Sylvia HAD to have ice in every beverage and really enjoyed a Coke with LOTS of ice.  Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, daughter Bonnie Gibbs, granddaughter Cherish Petersen, great grandson Caleb Rogers and all nine of her siblings. She is survived by son Greg Anderson (Carla Thomsen), daughters Kay (Ken) Oster, Susan Adams and Cindy (Doug) Rogers, son-in-law Jim Gibbs, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, as well as six in-laws and many nieces and nephews whom she all loved dearly. Funeral Services Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11 am at Saint Francis United Methodist Church, 3914 229th Avenue, NW - St. Francis. Interment West Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 pm at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
