Susan Elizabeth Filigenzi, our beloved sister, wife, mother, Mimi and friend left us on February 27, 2023 to be at peace with her Heavenly Father. She was 79 years old.

Susan's greatest love and joy was her family. This dedication and love shined bright, as she was at the center of countless beautiful memories and traditions throughout the years that will be cherished in our hearts forever. Her kind and nurturing ways, welcoming arms, and beautiful smile made everyone she met feel like family. She is so loved and will be deeply missed, but her beautiful spirit will forever be woven into the fabric of our family and everyone she touched.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother and father, Helen and Albert Jenkin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Richard; daughters, Janice (Todd) Cross, and Gina (Carlos Guzman) Filigenzi; brother, Thomas (Marilynn) Jenkin; 5 beautiful grandchildren, Aly (Jesse), Alex, Cristian, Nico, and Maria-Belen; and 2 bonus grandchildren, Stephany and Sarah.

A Memorial Service will be held for Susan at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home in Andover, Minnesota, on Monday, March 6th at 11am, with a visitation beginning at 10am.
