West, Steven Dale, age 68, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021. Steve was loved by so many in his life. He had a zest for living that couldn't go unnoticed. Steve was a perfectionist at heart and he never did anything half-heartedly. He always found ways to take something and make it better.
Steve was an avid outdoorsman. He loved South Dakota pheasant hunting with his Labrador Retrievers,Cork, Buck and Storm, and there were so many great stories to share and retell about his big game hunting trips to the mountains with his friends. Steve was also a competitive trap shooter and traveled throughout the country to competitions. A real passion for Steve was 'off the trail' snowmobiling in the mountains out west—the higher the better. Steve enjoyed all types of sports from golfing and fishing to his days of playing hockey. Steve was never a spectator but always a participant. Steve's professional life included a successful career in real estate and as a home contractor. Steve was an amazing husband, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by so many. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Rhondi; his sisters Donna Bickford (Buzz) and Becky
Kamin; his brothers Wayne West (Debbie), Curtis West (Susan) and Mike Sroga (Joanne); Sister-in-law Tarrill Abney (Paul); nieces Rhonda Sonnenfeld (Ken), Chelsea West (Brandon Ruhman), Jessica Wilson (Alex), Brandy Coons (Chuck), Amanda Clausen (Joel), Teresa Abney; nephews Rick Bickford (Denise), Jeff Bickford (Michelle), Michael West, Chase West, Dennis Abney and many relatives and friends. He was
preceded in death by his mother Gladys Sroga, father Arthur West, and his stepfather Frank Sroga.

A private family service will take place at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka. There will be A Celebration of
Life to honor Steve at a later date.
