STEVEN JAMES SEABORN
BORN JANUARY 27, 1950
DIED APRIL 27, 2009
Steve died at age 59 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. He volunteered for the M.S. Walk each year. His courageous and optimistic spirit is a model for us all as we face lifeâ??s challenges. Growing up, Steve spent summers fishing at Lake George and winters bowling, outscoring seasoned veterans. He was generous, loving and downright fun to be around. He enjoyed traveling to Europe and visiting family around the U.S. He was a passionate Viking fan and had hoped theyâ??d win a Superbowl in his lifetime.
Steve was a 1968 graduate of Anoka High, and went on to earn a B.S. in Mathematics from Madison. At the time he died, he was entering his 24th year of work at the State of MN, most recently as an Office Services Intermediate with the Dept. of Revenue.
Steve was preceded in death by beloved parents Gerald Blaine Seaborn and Connie Swanson Seaborn; precious Great Nephew Jeremy Paul Brewer; spunky cat, Shadow, and dear friends from â??the gang.â? He is survived by his aunt and uncle, Babe and George Swanson; brother, Gary Seaborn; sister, Allison Seaborn; nephew, Jason; and nieces Kelly, Sadie and M. Stefameâ??. We, with other family and friends, miss him already.
A visitation at Thurston-Lindberg funeral home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka, will be held Saturday, May 2, from noon to 2 p.m., with a celebration service from 2-3 p.m. A reception will follow at Billyâ??s Grill, 214 Jackson St., Anoka, from 3:15 â?? 5 p.m.
Steve, you are now dancing with the angels!
