Scarborough, Steven E. age 82 of Anoka, MN born March 6, 1939 went home to heaven on January 26, 2022. Steve will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 59 years, Mary; children: Beth (Dave) Fisher, Craig (Leigh) Scarborough, Sarah (Scott) Martin; grandchildren: Kylie (Andrew) Polillo, Kendri (Tim) Ebert, Madison (Alex) Parlow, Molly Scarborough, Makenna and Lauren Martin; 4 great grandchildren: Drew Polillo, Emelia Ebert, Jane and Joelle Parlow and many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Don and Thelma Scarborough, and sister Sally Board. Steve retired from Honeywell after a 39 year engineering career where he enjoyed developing hand controls for the Apollo program, managing projects in solar energy, robotics, along with research and development projects in Prague, Czech Republic. In his spare time Steve loved boating, fishing and golfing, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a faithful man of God, wonderful leader and amazing husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather and friend. Celebration of Life will be held at Greenhaven Golf Course, 2800 Greenhaven Road, Anoka, MN 55303 on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 4-6 PM.
