Huhtala, Steven W. age 46 of Nowthen, passed away unexpectedly April 17, 2011. Steve was born August 9, 1964 to Phyllis and Arthur Huhtala in Grand Rapids. He graduated from Greenway High School in 1982, then married Debbie Vossen in 1986 in Brooklyn Park. Steve and Debbie built their home and raised their children, Jeffrey and Tonya; in Nowthen. Steve worked as a machinist at Master Machine in Blaine for over 20 years. Preceded in death by parents, Phyllis and Arthur; son Jeffrey in 2003; and wife Debbie in 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Tonya of Deer River, brother Scott (Cyndi) Huhtala of Deer River, and many other relatives, friends and his special dogs, Lucky, Bruiser, and Gus. Memorial Service Monday 1 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka with visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials prefered.
