Steven K. "Steve" Bjerke, age 60 of Anoka, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at home.

Steve was born on September 19, 1959 in Minneapolis to Kenneth and Lois (Larson) Bjerke.  Following his graduation from Anoka High School in 1978, Steve worked for many years as a Transmission Specialist and could work on "anything with a motor."  He enjoyed Rock and Classic Rock music, classic cars, being outdoors; hunting, fishing, boating, and riding his 1987 Harley.  Most of all, Steve loved spending time with family and friends.  He was a friend to anyone; always willing to help, placing their needs before his own.

Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Stoller.  He is survived by his children, Alicia (Chad) Chapman, Lindsey (Daniel) Bukowski, and Travis Bjerke; grandchildren, Aaron, Charlie, Sean, Adrian, Tommy, Alaina, Alexander, and McKenzie; parents, Ken and Lois Bjerke; brothers, Bruce (Sherry) and Brian (Tracy); brother-in-law, Bill (Cindy) Stoller; also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Private Interment.
