Sonia Dee Burman, our precious daughter, passed away on September 22, 2022 after struggling with the after affects of a serious accident and subsequent treatments for years, Sonia died from a sudden onset of liver failure.  Sonia is already tremendously missed by surviving members of the family including her mother and father, mother, Sharon Champ and husband Doug, father Robert Burman Jr and wife Joan, her brothers Robert Burman III & wife Rhonda, Jacob Burman and wife Elizabeth, Darrell Andrews, and grandmother Eleanor Hall, aunts & uncles, nieces and nephews cousins and other relatives and friends. Sonia was greeted in heaven by her grandparents Dutch Ricke,  Bob and Marilyn Burman and other relatives and friends who predeceased her.

Sonia loved her family, they were so important to her, and easily befriended everyone and was beloved by her family and friends.  Sonia was intelligent and feisty with a clever sense of humor and an infectious smile.  Sonia's sense of loyalty, ingenuity and generous heart will be missed by all who knew her.  Sonia enjoyed shopping, active pursuits of outdoors including gardening, horseback riding and travel which took her across the US and several trips to Mexico, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Sonia loved animals, especially her current dogs, Dober and Bella.  Sonia also loved horses and was an avid rider enjoying play day events, trail riding and being a member of the Round Up Riders until an accident forced her to stop riding.

Sonia's crowning achievement was her own company, Holographic Security Concepts, LLC.  At one time she employed seven employees and managed a profitable hologram security manufacturing company.

Fond memories and expressions with special thanks to Uncle Harlan, Aunt Sheryl & their son Marty for all of the extra time and love they spent helping Sonia.  They went above-and-beyond during often difficult times during Sonia's last years and stepped in and helped make her life a little easier.

Sonia's smile was contagious, her generosity and concern for those around her will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will take place on October 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Thurston Deshaw Funeral Home 13817 Jay St NW , Andover , MN 55304 763 767-7373.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  It will be followed by a light lunch and a celebration of memories.
