Youngquist, (Talbot) Shirley A. age 84 of Anoka passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and seven children on December 18th. She was the devoted wife of 64 years to Robert "Bob" Youngquist and the dedicated mother of Linda (Jeff) Roseland, Susan (Joe) Niedenfuer, Edward (Linda) Youngquist, Charles (Lori) Youngquist, Joel (Jennifer) Youngquist, Cheryl Kovar and Andrew (Marcia) Youngquist. Shirley was preceded in death by parents Cyril and Edith Talbot, brothers Kenneth, Earl, Warren, Cecil and sister Roslyn Duclos. She was blessed to have and loved very much, 21 grandchildren and 10 great -grandchildren. Shirley had an affinity for their family cabin on Portage Lake outside of McGregor Minnesota and her favorite family dogs Penny, Tori, and Nellie. A fun day for Shirley included playing cards with her children/grandchildren, campfires, fishing and laughing with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11 am at St. Stephen's Catholic Church , 525 Jackson Street, Anoka. Visitation Tuesday 12/27 from 5 pm - 8 pm at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka and also one hour prior to  Mass at the Church.
