Shirley Ann (Thieman) Tuma born November 23, 1940 to Albert and Vera Thieman of Pine City, Minnesota. She grew up on a farm where she began her love for animals. She was the 3rd of 4 siblings who preceded her in death. 

Shirley attended school in Pine City, MN where she graduated in 1959. There she made many wonderful life long friends. She married Fred Tuma in 1960, married for 66 years.

Survived by son Todd (Donna) Tuma, daughter Sue (Ross) Rosendahl. Grandchildren Toni (Jared) vonGlahn, Isaac (Jenna) Tuma, Kalli (Michael) Galyean, Levi (Melissa) Rosendahl, Shannyn (Jake) Irey. Great grandchildren Dominic, Hayden, Gavin, Houston, Henry, Hailey, Nash, Carter, Nolyn, Riley, and Hank. 

She and Fred lived in Montevideo, MN out of college where Fred taught school. In 1967, they moved to St. Paul, MN. Fred went to Bethel seminary, there they began a ministry career together serving churches in Lakeland, Alexandria, and Ham Lake. They retired and moved to Bayport, MN.
