Blake, Shirley J. age 90, of Anoka, passed away peacefully May 24, 2015. She was a graduate of MacPhail College of Music in 1947, then continued on as a voice and piano instructor at the school. She also taught private lessons for over 60 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond. Survived by children, Lawrence, Gregory (Trudy), Phillip, Alan (Karla), Paul (Jill); grandchildren, Robert (Jammie), Susan (Donald) Baron, Claire and Andrew Blake, Jeremy, Thomas and Allison; great-grandchildren, Katlyn, Maxwell, Alexa, Morgan and Anabelle; sister, Marjorie McDermott; many other loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday 11 AM, with visitation 1 hour prior at St. Francis United Methodist Church, 3914 229th Ave N., in St. Francis.
