Sharon Lee
St. Hilaire
Sep 10, 1946 — Aug 27, 2026
Ham Lake
Sharon Lee St. Hilaire, age 79, was born September 10, 1946, and went home to be with our Lord on August 27, 2026.
Sharon is a strong Christian woman and loves the Lord. She was a longtime resident of Ham Lake, Minnesota, where she devoted her life to caring for her family, home, friends and community.
Sharon accomplished many amazing things during her lifetime. She was a Girl Scout leader, a beautician and a volunteer fire fighter for Ham Lake Fire Department. Sharon was appointed Fire Marshall from January 1988 to January 1990 and was awarded 'Fire Fighter of the Year" in 1990. In July of 1989, Sharon became the first woman to get hired on as a Fire Fighter at the Twin City Army Ammunition Plant and served for 4 years. In 1995, she worked for Medtronics Inc. for 14 years in the Badge Administrator/Security Department. After she retired in 2009, she went on to work with elder adults with Comfort Keepers.
Sharon was a proud Minnesotan, and when not working, she loved to go fishing, camping and did a lot of traveling. She loved music, the beach and nature, (especially her Cardinal birds that would visit outside their patio window). She cherished time with family and especially loved being with her grandchildren. She loved to cook, bake and spoil her Grandkids and Granddogs.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Arthur, daughter Jolene (Ryan) Murray, Son Doug (Barb) St. Hilaire and Amielee (Jason) Young. Grandkids: Jessie, Ben, John, Nathan, Laura, Simon, Kailey, Jerrin, Bjorn, Autumn, Riley and baby Dylan. Sharon's sisters: Donna and Cathy and her brother John.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 14, 2026, at the Anoka Legion. Visitation will begin at Noon, and the service will follow at 1:00 PM, with a luncheon afterward.
She was our glue, our rock and our go to person. She took care of everything and everyone, for it was in her blood and it was who she was. Now, we all feel a little bit lost and a little bit empty, but, it is her time to rest, and be with our Lord. She will be missed so very much by all.
