IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sean Patrick
Foell
December 29, 1974 – April 19, 2023
Sean Patrick Foell, age 48, of Andover, MN passed away at his home in Minneapolis, MN on April 19th, 2023. Sean was born on December 29, 1974. He graduated from Blaine High School in Blaine, MN in 1993. He attended and graduated from Brown Institute in 1999 earning his MSCSE degree.
Sean worked for most of his life for ADP dealer services and later CDK Global. His career consisted of traveling the United States visiting the worst parts of most major cities, but he took it in stride. Later in his career he spent most of his time driving through the beautiful upper Midwest, which he truly enjoyed. Except those late Friday calls to Eau Claire.
Sean was not unlike a nice Midwestern bon fire, sometimes it took a while to get it going, but once it was started, it was hard to look away. He was shy, but once you made it through, his humor, kindness, warmth and smile were great sources of joy, and comfort. He was truly a funny man.
Sean enjoyed many things in life, including growing up with the "Andover Gang" and especially his "sisters" Connie, Janelle and Renae, an ice-cold Coors Light, fishing, going up North and losing in fantasy football…but none more than anything in the Star Wars universe (loved Andor and The Mandalorian) and garlic toast from Murray's Steakhouse. He also had a love hate relationship with the game of golf. He hated it, except for one night a year where he would play glow ball with his friends, and three wonderful teammates.
He was loved by so many and will be missed by all that truly knew him.
Sean is preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Geneva Duffy and Richard and Clara Foell; Aunts and Uncles: Tim and Micky Duffy, Peter Smith, Ann Duffy and Anne DuBois. Sean is survived by his parents, Patricia and Patrick; brother and best friend, Dary; along with many, many family and friends.
The family will have a private celebration on June, 25th.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests, if you are so inclined, to please donate to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
