Sarah Gjesvold, age 48 of Ham Lake, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home.
Sarah Gjesvold was an amazing Mom, dedicated to caring for us from the time we were little. There were Mickey Mouse pancakes, trips to the library, sunny picnics, and plenty of cute outfits for us to wear. She was constantly looking for ways to improve the lives of her girls, introducing us to music and sports, and so wanting to help us feel organized and confident as we grew up. She loved to see us succeed, and was as excited as we were to see our lives and their opportunities unfold. Mom did everything. She loved projects and spent much of her time making our home more and more beautiful, filling spaces with plants and paintings, color and life. Through the years she selflessly coordinated activities, attended to our needs, and offered her unconditional love and support. She never stopped caring about us. To the end she was right there asking what we needed help with, wondering what she could do to make our lives better, and celebrating with us in our successes. Through everything she faced in her own life she always made time to take care of her girls, and we are so proud to call her our Mom.
Sarah was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Parman; and brother, Farron Parman. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Scott; beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn, Dylani, and Rylee; mother, Starlit Winder; one sister; five brothers; two step-brothers; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends, all of whom Sarah adored.
