Sandra Kay McGoey, of Oak Grove, Minnesota passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020, with her husband, children, and niece Tammy Hickey by her side. She was 73 years old. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Russell Rockvam, and her mother, Dorothy Rockvam. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry McGoey; daughters Kristine (Bruce) Benolkin of Sioux Falls, SD; Sara (Jeremy) Mitzuk of St. Francis, MN; son Martin (Lara) McGoey of Dickinson, ND; sisters Darlene Siem; JoAnn (Bob) Worsham; Ramona Kennedy; brother Ronald (Janice) Rockvam; grandchildren Cameron (Amanda) Benolkin; Courtney Benolkin; Nicholas Mitzuk; Erin (Kevin) Bortz; Adam Mitzuk; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Sandra was born in New Ulm, Minnesota on October 10 ^th , 1946. She lived her entire life in Minnesota. She moved to the Twin Cities in the 1960s where she met her husband, first living in St. Louis Park and then moving to Oak Grove in 1978. Sandra was very active in her church, Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Francis. She worked for many years as a daycare provider and became an educational assistant at St. Francis High School in 1997 until she retired in 2012. Sandra enjoyed volunteer work at her church, spending time with friends and family, hosting family gatherings, exercising, traveling, and gardening.

Private services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church of Elk River. Interment at West Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church of St. Francis.
