Yourzak, Ruth Phyllis (nee Sorenson) age 97, of Edina, entered home Dec. 18, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Axel & Emily Sorenson (Kennedy, Mn.); 7 sisters & 3 brothers. Survived by sons, Robert (Sandy Menter Thielen) and Gary (Bonnie); daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Jonathan, David & Luke; sisters, Hazel & Veryl; many nieces, nephews & cousins. She loved teaching her elementary school students during a rewarding career. Funeral service 11:30 AM Fri., Dec 20th at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 - 4th Ave. S., Anoka. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka.
