Wischnefski, Ruth Ann (nee Illies) age 76 of Champlin, passed away on June 24, 2021 with her family by her side. Ruth was born in Elrosa, and moved to Champlin in the early 70's. She is survived by her husband of 56 yeard Gerald; children, David (June), Brian, Sharon (Troy) Nelson; 2 granddaughters, Danielle Nelson, Amanda Nelson; 2 great-grandchildren, Annabel Nelson, Samuel Bondhus; 2 brothers, Cyrll Illies, Thomas Illies; 3 sisters, Mary Lou Emslander, Kathy Wischnefski, Betty Freihammer; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her brother, Euguene Ilies; sister, Eleanor Maier; granddaughter, Ashley Nelson; parents, Gertrude and John Illies. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday (7/9/2021) at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at St. Stephen's Catholice Church, 525 Jackson St. Anoka.
