Bakke, Roy G. age 90 of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully November 6, 2018. Roy was a loving and devoted family man who recently celebrated 65 years of marriage to Louise. He was especially supportive and protective of his 2 daughters and 3 granddaughters. Roy loved the outdoors, particular hunting. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan! Later in life tennis became one of his passions. His Family will miss him dearly. Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Gladys. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Louise; daughters, Carole (Vincent) Birchem, Colleen (Daniel) McGraw; granddaughters, Kimberly Mandis, Carrie (Ryan) Campion, Caitlin (Carl) Anfinson; great-grandchildren, Shaindel, Kieran & Sean; sister, Joyce (Roger) Allen;  2 brothers, Roald (Kathy) & David and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday (11/16/2018) at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover. Burial will be at Morningside Memorial Garden in Coon Rapids.
