Roxanne Rene Morrison (Thompson) was born March 6, 1947, in Minneapolis, MN, to Lawrence Z. and Marion L. (Bystedt) Thompson. She was raised in Richfield and graduated from Richfield High School in 1965. She worked tirelessly to provide for her family, cooking and managing restaurant operations at various establishments around Minnesota.

Roxy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, card games, crafts, and the Black Hills. Her baking and family meals were amazing, all from a single recipe of, "It isn't hard, just mix it/season it and put in the oven."

She was generous and selfless, often putting the needs of other ahead her own.

Roxanne passed away peacefully in the presence of family at JA Wedum Hospice on June 28, 2019. She is survived by mother, Marion Thompson; sister, Robin (Joel) Johnson; 6 children, Mary Peterson (like a daughter), Kimberly (Brian) Erickson, Kevin (Karen) Dickinson, Joseph Weigler, Holly (Jeff) Lanning, Kristina Morrison, and 6 grandchildren: Tiffany, Haley, Bradley, Blake, Wyatt, and Brooklyn.

Private celebration of life will be held on July 13. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the JA Wedum Hospice.
