Roxanne C. Griswold, age 69 of East Bethel, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

In addition to her parents, Kenneth and Violet (Keen) Smith, Roxanne was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Smith, Jr.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim Griswold; children, Trent (Heather) Griswold, J.C. Griswold, and Alan (Amy) Bachman; grandchildren, Caleb (Kayla) Griswold, Gentle (Anders) Langley, Patience Griswold, Amber Griswold, Gideon Griswold, Mercy Griswold, Blessing Griswold, Judah Griswold, Jesse Griswold, Noah Griswold, Praise Griswold, Hosanna Griswold, Cherish Griswold, Corbin Griswold, Sydney Griswold, Phersson Bachman and Joseph Bachman; great-granddaughter, Comfort Griswold; brothers, Kim Smith and Sabin (Tammy) Smith; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Roxanne and Jim were married for over 50 years. She made many friends through the family owned bicycle shop, Wheel Sports, and was an active member of Meadow Creek Church for 48 years. Talented at many interests and vocations, she continued to bless people with her sewing even as she battled cancer, and her friendly smile and quiet strength were an encouragement everywhere she went, from trips to the mall to classic car shows to clinic appointments. She will be dearly missed, but we rejoice that she is now with Jesus, her savior.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12 , 2018 at Meadow Creek Church, 3037 Bunker Lake Boulevard NW, Andover.  Visitation 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11 at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay Street NW, Andover, and one hour prior to the service at church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hope Lodge, 2500 University Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414
