Obituary

Rosemarie (Rosemary) Lorraine Arvidson, 73, peacefully passed away after a long battle with bone cancer at her home on Friday, October 9, 2020 with her husband and children by her side.

She was born on October 28, 1946 in Pierz, MN to Peter and Katherine (Katie) Tretter, and was married to Rodney Arvidson for 34 years.

Survived by husband Rodney, her sister Frances, children; Victoria, Tina (Derek), Shawn; stepchildren; Jeff (Vicki), Theresa, Robert; grandchildren; Crystal (Quinten), Rachel (Brandon), Matthew, Kale (Breanna), Brandon, Abygail, Brooke, Ashlea, Arrieal, Aliza, Autumn, Colton; great grandchildren; Weston, Camden, Colten, Caleb, Henry, Theo, Hanna, Julia, Violet

Proceeded in death by her father Peter, her mother Katherine; siblings; Lorenz (Sonny), Aletha ( Tootsie), Donald, Theresa, Joseph, Herman, and her son Earl. Rose loved quality time with family and friends. She had an adoration for animals and had a gift for helping others in need. She had a special passion for Christmas and making it extra special for her family. Her favorite hobbies included: traveling, sewing, cooking, Yahtzee (a quarter a game!), collecting recipes for "someday", going up north to Aitkin, listening to country music and gambling. She will be missed for her witty humor, candid conversations, and utmost love for her family.

Her love for beer, brandy water presses, and pull tabs brought us to have her Celebration of Life on Friday, October 16 @ 4 p.m. at American Legion, 400 W Main St. Anoka, MN. Put your party pants on and be ready to have a drink (or as Rose would say a "knopper") in her honor.
