Ward, Ronald Henry age 83 of Anoka passed away on April 19, 2022 peacefully at home. He was born October 2, 1938 in St. Paul to parents Donald and Freda (Gross) Ward. Ron had an idyllic childhood (he would let you know) and this put family at the center of his life. He was a dedicated and loving son, brother, husband and father. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. If you were a friend of Ron's you were treated like family too. Ron is survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia (Hoelscher) Ward; children Scott (Cameron Vail), Sandi Larson, Steve (Shelly Niven Steffens) and Skip (Heather Garin); grandchildren Alayna, Jessica, Lexi, Taylor, Spencer and Evan; sisters Joyce Bode and Mary Ann (Gary) Stevenson; and the Hoelscher siblings. Ron is very missed and loved. Memorial Mass Saturday May 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka. Memorials preferred.
