Ronald Dean Carlson, born August 18, 1939, a resident of Champlin, MN, and formerly of Wadena, MN, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024, with his family by his side.

Ron was a man of faith and devoted husband who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his wife and family. He and his sons shared their love of the outdoors hunting and fishing up north. Ron cherished his grandchildren and always cheered them on at their activities. He leaves an incredible legacy and will be deeply missed.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judy; their sons, Ryan (Amy) and Eric (Shelly) both of Anoka, MN; his adoring grandchildren, Eliot, Kenley, Paige, and Graham; his siblings, Larry (Grace) and Midge (Don); sister-in-law Karen Langerud; brothers-in-law, John Langerud and Pat Taillefer; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Howard and Inez; father- and mother-in-law, Kenny and Jeanne Erickson; sisters-in-law, Patty Barry and Linda Taillefer; and brother-in-law Bob Barry.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 4:00 pm at Constance Free Church (16150 Crosstown Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304). Visitation begins at 3:00 pm.
