Roger was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Oak Grove where he served as an usher for many years and loved to have his family carry the gifts.  He enjoyed collecting glassware and wine for the wine baskets at St. Patrick's Country Fest.  Roger also worked the spring and fall garage sales at church.
In addition to his parents, Joseph G. and Lillian (Dworshak) Herdina, Roger was preceded in death by an infant twin brother.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rosie; children, Susanne (Russell) Wintz, James, Paula (Jeff) Angstadt, Joni Coots; grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Thorne, Cory and Casey Forslund, Colton Benesch, Jennifer and Michael Coots, Jacob Angstadt; great-grandchildren, Cru, Harper, and Remi Thorne, Abrianna and Keaton French, and Emilie Willhite; sister, Dorothy Willhite; also many relatives and friends.
