Lundgren, Rodney L. age 74 of Andover, passed away en route to the hospital on Monday May 6, 2013. He was born March 7, 1939 in Virginia, MN to Irene and Wayne Lundgren. Rodney graduated from Mountain Iron high school in 1959. He attended Bemidji State College and Virginia Jr. College. Rodney entered the military and was discharged in October of 1965.
He went on to work in the trucking industry as a driver for various companies and also was an independent contractor.
Rodney enjoyed many sports including; football, basketball and hockey and was an avid hunter.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Danya; his son Wayne; and grandchildren, Laila and Logan Hoysler-Lundgren. Private services to be held at a later date.
