Schachtschneider (Schneider), Robert Ward age 72, of Longville, MN, formerly of Andover/ Anoka, N. Mpls, and Underwood, MN. Died June 25, 2014 in a drowning accident. Bob was the former owner/operator of the Vineyard Restaurant in Anoka. He will always be remembered as a man who lived life to the fullest. Bob loved adventure of any kind: fishing, hunting, sailing, traveling and fast motorcycles, as well as bird watching/feeding, Gospel music, cooking, meditating and was a proud liberal, beloved employer and true humanitarian. His home was open to anyone who needed a place for awhile, and it didn't make any difference how long it was. He loved deeply and was deeply loved by many. Survived by "My Bride" Barbara (nee Niederloh); son, David (Dasha); daughters, Maureen (Jerry) Ledin and Ann Marie (Mike) McFarlane; grandchildren, Gage, Hailey, Hunter, Christian and Emma; brother, Curt (Naomi); sisters, Marcy (Dale) Hanneman and Jean; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former employees. Preceded in death by parents, Arnold & Geneva and sister, Barbara. Funeral service Thursday, 10:30 AM at Lord of Life Church, 14501 Nowthen Blvd NW, Ramsey, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service.
