McGill, Robert Alfred age 82, of Anoka. Bob was born April 7, 1928 in Anoka. He joined the Navy in Oct. of 1945 and was honorably discharged in April 1949. Bob retired from Federal Cartridge in 1989 after 40 years of service. He was an avid photographer and enjoyed trap shooting. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Eva (Anderson) McGill; his father, Guy McGill; and son-in-law, Bill Dickey. He is survived by his wife, Irene; daughter, Robin; grandchildren, Dara, Robert (Gina), Andrew and Jessica Dickey. Funeral service Friday 11 AM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, W. Main St. & Branch Ave., Anoka. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Visitation one hour prior to services only. Memorials preferred to the Diabetes Association .
