After an amazing life of family, career, and adventure, Bob entered the spirit world on Friday,
November 12, 2021. Bob's love of hiking, biking, hunting, climbing, swimming, sailing, and the
South Dakota Badlands, was only exceeded by his love for his family. Bob was proud to have
shared many of his adventures with Faith, Alex, and Brianne during hiking vacations,
international adventures, and ocean sailing. As a Marine Corps infantryman and S2 Scout, he
served his country in SE Asia during the Vietnam War. Bob is a proud Life Member of Palmer
Lake VFW Post 3915. Upon retiring from Honeywell after 31 years in Aerospace and Defense,
Bob and Faith continued volunteering and traveling. His volunteering included supporting
veterans, visiting hospice patients, tutoring students, and fighting hunger at ACBC Food Shelf.
He is survived by his wife Faith of 46 years, son Alex (Rachel), daughter Brianne, and brother
Lee (Diane). He is preceded in death by his parents Neil and Jean (Kain) Whitcraft and sister
Janet.

A memorial to celebrate Bob's life will be held on Monday, November 22 at Thurston-DeShaw
Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St NW, Andover, MN 55304. Visitation begins at 2pm. Memorial
service at 3pm. Light refreshments to follow. The family respectfully requests that all attendees
be vaccinated.
