IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bob"
Clarence Lindeen
July 29, 1941 – December 27, 2020
Robert "Bob" Clarence Lindeen passed away peacefully at Autumn Glen Senior Living on Sunday, December 27, 2020, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease and dementia. Bob was cared for by his loving wife, Jackie, prior to moving to Autumn Glen Senior Living. He lived there two months prior to his death. Bob was born on July 29, 1941, in Litchfield, Minnesota, to Raymond and Violet (Steabner) Lindeen. He grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He was the second oldest in a family of nine children. Bob loved being on the move and saw many parts of the United States. He loved sharing stories about his younger years when he and a buddy hitchhiked throughout the country, and also when he and his buddies would go diving and swimming in the quarries in Waite Park. He always enjoyed doing anything outdoors, especially fishing, hiking, and camping. Bob met his wife, Jackie (Knudson) Lindeen, when they were neighbors living in Minneapolis. They have been married for almost 53 years. They have a daughter, Jodi, and lived in Anoka most of their lives. For several years, he and Jackie owned a cabin up north, where he loved spending time.
He worked for Stone Container in Roseville for 38 years. Bob is survived by his wife, Jackie, daughter, Jodi Kvern, and son-in-law, Phil Kvern. He is also survived by his brothers: Virg (Maria), Stan (Holly), Darrel (Joyce), and sisters: Janiece Ramsey, Lillian (Jason) Kruse, Joleen (David) Rubel, and Shirley Lindeen, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Roy, brother-in-law Burton Ramsey, and in-laws Clarence and Veronica Knudson. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date. Memorials to the family preferred, in lieu of flowers.
