Bednarczyk, Rita A. age 74 of Plymouth earned her Angel wings on February 7, 2024 after a hard fought battle with ovarian cancer. Rita was born in North Minneapolis to Andrew & Elizabeth (Fischer) Bednarczyk. She attended St. Anne's School and St. Anthony of Padua High School, both in Minneapolis. Rita graduated from St. Benedict's in Crookston where she received her nursing degree. She worked at North Memorial Medical Center and specialized in OB, caring for newborns. Rita was a caring daughter, sister, Auntie and friend to all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael, nephew Tim Bednarczyk and brother-in-law Bob Avati. Rita is survived by her siblings Theresa (Gerald) Neises, Andrew (Patricia), Elizabeth Avati and Peter (Joan). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, but always said her godchild and niece Stephanie Jenson (Neises) was a special part of herself. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11 am at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope.
