Richard Michael Zeck, age 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 26, 2018 while residing at Park River Estates Care Center in Coon Rapids, MN with his wife by his side.

Richard "Rick" was born on April 13, 1955 in Chicago, IL to Richard and Gloria Zeck. He graduated from high school as Valedictorian from St. Joseph High School in Westchester, IL.  He received his Masters degree in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology where he then went on to teach as well as teaching at DeVry Institute. He rounded out his career as a computer consultant at other technology based corporations.

Rick married Jane Budilovsky Zeck in 1979.  They were happily married for 38 years. Richard, Jane and their two children moved to the Minneapolis area in 1990 where Rick continued his technology career. Rick was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the young age of 21. As the MS progressed, Rick moved into Park River Estates Care Center in 1998. The one thing that every nurse or aid who works there will tell you is Rick was the most polite amongst their residents. There was not a day he didn't say something along the lines of "Thank you, ma'm" or "how are you today sir?" Richard was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed. Not to forget the great joy he had for his grandchildren.

In addition to his father, Richard Charles Zeck, Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria DiMuzio Zeck.  Rick is survived by his loving wife, Jane Zeck; son, Richard John Zeck and his wife Yung; daughter, Rebecca Ann Gonzalez and her husband Jesus; brother, David Zeck and his wife Pam. Grandchildren include, Joaquin, Khaleesi and Elle Gonzalez and Richard and John Zeck. Rick is also survived by his niece, nephews, and many more family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 100 Silver Lake Road NW, New Brighton.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at church (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Interment West Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove.
