Schanhaar, Richard (Dick) L. age 80 of Anoka, passed away on May 3, 2011.
Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Ethel; and 2 brothers, John and Raymond. Dick owned and operated Tasty Food Shop Bakery in Anoka, a family run bakery for 45 years. He retired from Lunds as a pastery chef in 1993. A US Marine Corp veteran; Dick was a long time member of American Legion Post 102 and Anoka Golf Club.
Survived by wife, Delores; daughter Michele (Kirk) Schnitker; sons, Jeffery (Judith) and Michael (Terri); grandchildren, Kyle Boie, Kristin (Erik) Wendlandt, Sam Schanhaar, Bonnie Lacey, Kellie (Jay) Bossen, Clayton Schnitker and Evan Schnitker; three great-
grandchildren, Niklaas Wendlandt, James Bossen,and lucy Nori; sister, Mary Jo (Don) Roberts; Brother-in-law, Jerry (Mary) Degler; many great friends. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, May 9, 11 Am at St. Stephenâ??s Catholic Church, 1601 4th Ave., Anoka, with visitation 1 hr prior to mass. Private interment.
