Haedtke, Richard A. age 71 of Andover, passed away peacefully March 17, 2016. Born in Lewiston, MN August 2,1944. Richard proudly served in the US Army from 1963-1966. Employee of NW Bell/US West/Quest for 37 years. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Irene; sisters, Josephine Janzow, Patricia Haedtke-Johnson; father-in-law, Walter Lucking. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia; children, David (Loree) Haedtke, Lori (Jason) Finlay; grandchildren, Bella Haedtke, Reilly Finlay and Emily Finlay; brothers, James (Nancy) Haedtke, Robert (Barbara) Haedtke, Peter (Linda) Haedtke, Edward (Linda) Haedtke, John Haedtke; mother-in-law, Joyce Lucking; sister-in-law Cathy (James) Rosenbush; many other loving relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 31 from 5-8 PM at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 1, 2016 11 AM with a visitation 1 hour prior at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 7101 143rd Ave NW, Anoka.
