Haedtke, Richard A. age 71 of Andover, passed away peacefully March 17, 2016. Born in Lewiston, MN August 2,1944. Richard proudly served in the US Army from 1963-1966. Employee of NW Bell/US West/Quest for 37 years. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Irene; sisters, Josephine Janzow, Patricia Haedtke-Johnson; father-in-law, Walter Lucking. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia; children, David (Loree) Haedtke, Lori (Jason) Finlay; grandchildren, Bella Haedtke, Reilly Finlay and Emily Finlay; brothers, James (Nancy) Haedtke, Robert (Barbara) Haedtke, Peter (Linda) Haedtke, Edward (Linda) Haedtke, John Haedtke; mother-in-law, Joyce Lucking; sister-in-law Cathy (James) Rosenbush; many other loving relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 31 from 5-8 PM at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 1, 2016 11 AM with a visitation 1 hour prior at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 7101 143rd Ave NW, Anoka. In lieu of flowers, memorials to ALS Association of MN, 333 N. Washingtion Ave, Suite 105, Mpls, MN 55401.
