Obituary
Fierstine, Richard Allen, age 62 of Zimmerman. On May 12, 2016, Richard Allen Fierstine, a longtime resident of Zimmerman, Minnesota, and beloved son and brother lost his battle to a long illness. Born on Oct. 6, 1953 to John M. Fierstine and Doloris V. Fierstine(nee Rikke) in Marshall Minnesota.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, John M. Fierstine and his brother, Terry D. Fierstine. He is survived by his mother Doloris V. Fierstine, of Monticello, MN.; brothers, Larry M. Fierstine and wife Gudrun, of Las Cruces, NM, and Gary D. Fierstine of Rush City MN. Richard was a graduate of Elk River High School class of 1970. Richard loved music and cars, and played some guitar. He will be missed by his many friends in the Zimmerman area, especially Dennis Jannush, his longtime childhood friend, who was of great assistance to him at the end.
Richard will remain in our hearts forever.
