Beese, Richard L. "Dick" age 79 of Champlin, passed away on May 14, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Martha Beese; grandson, baby Clem; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Murlie Beese; niece, Sandra and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Laddie Kurgan, Lorelie Hartkopf, and Donna and Stan Getchell. Dick is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jackie; children, Michelle (Mike) Barthel, Craig (Karen), Paul (Tana), Jay, Tom, Laura (Gary) Clem, and Ann (Dan) Posch; 19 grandchildren, great-granddaughter, Charlie; twin brother, Robert (Connie); sister, Charlotte Kurgan; brother-in-law, Allan "Bucky" Hartkopf; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Karen and Jerry Bridgeman. Visitation Monday 5-8 PM with a 7 PM memorial service at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
