Rhonda Lyn Scharber age 75 of Anoka passed away on August 13, 2025 at the Homestead of Anoka.  She was born in Minneapolis on December 17, 1949 to Jack and Phyllis Kuss. Rhonda is preceded in death by her husband Joseph "Joe" Scharber, parents Jack & Phyllis Kuss and brother Scott Kuss. She is survived by her daughters Michelle (Pete) Banks and Kim (Dave) Kelcher, grandchildren Alison & Grant, sister Jacque Santelli, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 until 5 pm on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Broadway Pizza, 16754 US Highway 10, Elk River. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. She cherished the life she built with Joe, and was deeply proud of their 52 years of marriage. She lived devoted to her family, who brought her such joy. She cheered Michelle and Kim through their sports and activities and enjoyed spending time at Ailson and Grant's activities. She never met a tomato she didn't like, enjoying gardening and cooking for everyone around her. As a nurse, she gave comfort with skill and compassion in all the places she worked.  Her gift for conversation made every visit memorable and entertaining. She never missed a chance to connect, to listen, to love -and in doing so, she left an unwavering presence.
