Obituary

Lahn, Phyllis C. age 94, of Anoka, died peacefully Nov. 4, 2014. She was a fixture in the Anoka car business, operating both the Anoka Pontiac Garage and Trading Post Motors. She was a graduate of St. Ann's Catholic School in Anoka, Anoka High School and St. Catherine's College. Phyl was a longtime resident of Dayton, MN. She was a charter member of Mercy Hospital's Auxiliary and in recent years volunteered as a communion minister. She was active at St. John's in Dayton as trustee, counting contributions, women's league, finance committee and communion minister. Phyl spent her later years at Champlin Shores Senior Community where she was president of the residents' council, as well as spending quality time with her nephews and niece. Phyl was preceded in death by parents, Rich & Maggie Lahn; brothers and sisters, Mary Claire, Verna, George and Hank; nephew, Dick Lahn and special friend, Marjorie Nelson. She is survived by nephews and niece, Tom Lahn, Pixie Stoeckel, Henry Lahn, Rich Minning, Bill Minning, Jim Lahn and John Lahn. A reviewal will be held Monday, 5-8 PM at St. John's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 11 AM at St. John's Catholic Church, 18380 Columbus St., Dayton. Private interment Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Aunt Phyl was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
